I think its a great idea. I really do not think they are going to lose much defensively by shifting Katz to 2nd. Lets just be honest Jones is a liability offensively right now. Yes I know he hit the big double in the 16th the other night and he has some tools, but what about swinging at the first pitch the other night in the 14th after Bama had walked the bases loaded. It will do him some good to sit on his arse and think about what he has to do to get back in the lineup.

Moore did very well at third during Fall Ball. He's had maybe 2 hiccups there all year, but he's also just been thrown in at 3rd when the outcome of the game is no longer in question. Not very fair to judge him there from what we have seen this spring.

We need Jacoby. I don't know what happened in the dugout on Sunday, but we will greatly miss his defense if he's not out there. I trust that Mainieri will handle this spot well.
