Yeah I'd rather not shift around the infield nearing May during a 37-4 season. Especially not taking Ibarra off of 3rd and Katz at 1st.
The changes in 2009 were warranted. Not so much in 2013.

Anyone who has brought up the idea of sitting JaCoby on the rant over the past few weeks has been blasted with "but his defense is oh so valuable..." and now everyone is all behind the idea.....?

No it doesn't. Someone suggested it, the masses reject the idea because everything is going well. If we were a .500 team, it would have been an accepted idea.

Yes, Moore would be a better option at 2B than Katz IMO. People think that Moore was just a catcher in high school, but he played SS on the Marucci Elite team. I am not suggesting that he has the range the play SS at this level, just pointing out that he is an excellent infielder and not just a catcher that they put at 1B or 3B.

Moore is terrible at 3rd. And he would suck at 2nd too. DH Moore sure but do not put him in the field unless it's first. 2nd or 3rd would be very very bad ideas.

I don't see why changing the defense is all of a sudden on the table. The DH spot has been revolving all year, just put Moore there and be done.

No doubt. If you want to try and motivate JJ then ok but just play yocom and suck it up. Changing multiple infield positions on the best infield in the conference is a mistake imo.

What I've been saying.. plus it solidifies the outfield with the best bat out of those guys.
