Not having a QB sneak formation in short yardage is crazy game planning.

There's no pressure on defense to even consider. It has to be put into the offense.

pretty sure we do. we have the victory formation which is pretty close. We ran uptempo on the goal line

We should have used it and it showed. Adds another element of defending

Last year and this year, red zone play calling ( but not limited to formations) has, at times, looked like OC malpractice.
If there is a mitigating factor, I would like to better understand it.

That was huge. So going down the stretch teams will know how to prepare for the Tigers. It was really silly not to line up behind the center. It also tells how much trust the coaching staff believes in the O-Line

It's honestly perplexing considering Denbrock uses Madden to put his playbook together and I know they have QB sneaks on there.

Or how about the line get a .5 years push and the back punches it in on 3 tries.

With our Oline we should be able to get a yard.

I’d be happy if we would just put Jayden under center and hand the ball off in those short yardage situations. The thing that actually makes sense instead of running a rpo out of shotgun giving the d line time to get into the backfield

Daniels is not comfortable under center. It’s just ridiculous that he hasn’t learned to get comfortable after 5 years as a college QB.

QB sneak can be ran from any formation with the QB under center.

This is huge. Also killed us in the SEC championship game against Georgia.

We need a yard and we put the QB in the position to have to get 4. Just line up and push the damn pile.

Don’t see how you don’t go under center on first and goal from the 1… 4qb sneaks in a row… I’d take Daniel’s to get 1 yard in 4 tries…tigers would’ve been up 7-0 3 minutes into the game… poor play calling

I agree with all...running a shotgun formation from 1 yard line is beyond moronic...It's almost comical like look at this team now the back is at 5 yard line and then the defense has everybody in box...it's hard to believe to be honest...Get Will or Emory in backfield to push him in or mason when he get's back...

Did you see what happened every time we tried running between the tackles?

And you think we’d be good at running a QB sneak??

Agree...The University pays Millions in Contracts for these coaches and that is the best play for that situation...hmmmm
