Why with 6 minutes left and game essentially won, not sure why CEH and Brosette not in the game, and why Brennan with no snaps. Just curious.

I wish I could answer I’m guessing the weather played a part in the decision

Etling is a senior with zero chance of playing again after this year.
That’s all I can think of.
He seems to be having a blast.

Agreed on Guice part. Too much of a risk to keep him in the game like that. Let the Senior QB play. From reports he didn’t want to get out.

Weather. TN could've easily mounted a comeback had we given up a few quick turnovers.

Better to go with sure hands than ones who have little experience

I would guess weather and the fact all he would have done is handoff. I think any live snaps are beneficial to development but not getting in on that last drive is not a huge deal.

Etling wants to play every snap because he doesn't have much time left, so that's understandable. When he injured his hand late in the 4th with the game in-hand, I probably would have taken him out so he didn't injure it more with a big game next week that we need him for, but hopefully he'll be good to go.

My personal opinion is that we should've been running our normal offense, with passing, with both Brennen and CEH in there.

The score had the game in no doubt. The weather and the fact that UT was running a D that we see often are adverse conditions both Brennen and CEH need to be tested under.

I guess coach O wants to start next season with a freshman backfield.

I assume Coach O was trying to get #5 his 100 yards? Anyone here remember bama's god playing Ben Wilkerson all 4 quarters in a blow out game, only to have him blow out his knee on the last play of the last game ?

1994 LSU/Auburn: LSU is up 23-9 in the 4th. You never know how many interceptions a QB is going to throw in the the 4th quarter. Let the senior who rarely turns the ball over handle the snaps in bad weather.

This is the same head coach that had no idea Brosette was in the game instead of Guice. The dude has no clue what he's doing. It looks like he does after the Troy loss, but we have been playing historically bad SEC teams since the Bama loss.

I have personally thought they have played the QB situation properly this year minus the troy game of course. Danny should be our starter, he gives us the best chance to win.

But, zero reason CEH, Nick and Myles shouldn't be in up 20 with 6 min to go. Unless they are injured or suspended.

With that said, I am happy with the win and proud of this football team. We have won 5 of our last 6.

We play schedule, and we're winning. Better than losing those games right, like we did in the 90's.
