You are reaching. He only hired O because he swung and missed with Herman. Orgeron was his fall back, it worked out and we all benefited from it.

He tried to fire a man for rumors and no evidence. He hired Trent Johnson who was a huge failure. He hired a softball coach, had a press conference then allowed that coach to leave because his previous school blackmailed him, threatening to expose his off the field activities. He let Florida and the SEC commissioner make LSU look like the bad guy over the hurricane game. Dude put himself in public eye at the Vandy basketball game them taunted the fans. Alleva got exactly what he deserved and will get even more in the after life for destroying the lives of the Lacrosse players at Duke.
