I get what you are saying totally. Just like the guys saying that game will not even be competitive. We struggled with La Tech and Troy last year if my drunkened memory serves me right. I am not about to go pounding my chest saying that LSU is going to beat anyones arse on this schedule other than maybe McNeese and ULM.

One thing I find amazing about LSU fans is how they continue to say how bad UNC's offense is and yet, when someone brings up LSU's lack of offense they seem to think ohh that was last yr, they are going to be better this yr b/c of the new starters or b/c now they have Gonzales. Dude, if you are going to talk about last year...UNC went 8-5, losing 4 to ACC foes. Completely discrediting your argument. And by the way, the game is at a "neutral site"...well actually it is in the same stadium as the SEC championship game, so the Tigers are pretty familiar with the venue.
