That team was unranked, had the same QB...only a bit younger, had already lost 5 games, had co-DC's, and the same head coach.
How was the 08 team better than this version? The point is they looked great because they were playing an ACC team (oh and it happened to be on turf). The game against Penn State is a bad example given the field conditions. Play that game in good conditions and we use our speed to take advantage of them.

How many tickets did UNC return? No way, UNC has more fans at this game then LSU. Ga Tech two hours down the road had about the same number of fans as LSU. If the field advantage goes to anyone, it goes to LSU, and I don't think it will be even close as to who has more fans there.
As for the game results, I think it will be a defensive slug fest. I think both offenses will struggle against two very good defenses. I know LSU's offense was terrible last year and so was UNC's. I think both offenses will improve this year; I just believe LSU's will improve more because we have so many more playmakers.
LSU wins the game with a final score somewhere near 20 to 14.

When is the last time LSU beat an acc team??????
The last time we played one:2008 38-3 LSU
then 2007 Va Tech: 48-7 LSU!
then 2005 Miami: 40-3 LSU!

Duh agin.. Beat the shite out of a higher ranked GT team that thrashed most of the ACC and embarrassed their asses with a true freshmen QB in his first start..

How exactly did LSU go downhill in 09?
Are you serious. 1 win more and a offense that was a staggering 112th in the nation last year. OK LOTS of improvements . Should have lost to MSU. YES MSU. Behind La Tech at the half, got pushed around by ULL, need I go on with all these improvments you keep bring up????

The 08 team needed a miracle second half to beat Troy. Gave up 50+ pts against UGA and UF. Lost to an Arkansas team with Dick at QB. Again, how was that team better? You started off by forgetting when LSU last beat an ACC team. Now you're arguing that the 08 team was better than last year or this year's teams. You're having a rough day. I think you should sit this one out.

you obviously cant count.
So what will be your stance if LSU beats UNC with LM players? Surely Lil Nicky wasnt recruiting Jordan Jefferson when he was 13!!!

Penn State had to play in the same conditions. AND LSU had the lead until LSU let them WALTZ down the field for a winning FG.

I didn't say it was better. You said improvements and I see NO arguement from my previous post where I pointed the NON-improvements.

I am having a great day. You are just a delusional LSU homer. UNC WILL beat LSU. I hope I am wrong.

Let's look at the game vs Ga Tech. That game took place at the end of the 2008 season. Nick Saban's last year at LSU was 2004. You do the math. But if you can't then I've already provided you the following info. Here's the leaders by stats that game and who recruited them. If you are going to talk football then plesae try to be informed.
Leading passer - Jefferson (Miles recruit)
Leading rushers - Scott, Williams, Holliday, Murphy (all Miles recruits)
Leading receivers - Dickson, Lafell, Mitchell, Toliver, Byrd (all Miles recruits)

Does spewing this kind of vitriol about a team you "love" make you feel good? I bet you are awesome at parties.
