FlixBus might have transport between NOLA and BR's bus station (which is not pleasant at night)

Why is everyone acting like NOLA is impossibly far away?
The thing you need to know is that you won’t be able to leave the stadium when the game ends and hop into a car headed to New Orleans. The gameday experience at LSU is great, but traffic is a nightmare leaving campus.
Hang out at a bar for an hour or two, call an Uber, and you’ll be back to NOLA before you know it. Expect to pay $100 plus for the ride back though.

I’m thinking it would be a lot more than that.

If 100$ round trip is too much then maybe stay home.

I Uber from the highland road area to the Nola airport and it’s around $85
It could be an option but with surge you could be in a bind

My neighbor owns a cab company that drives folks to the game and when it's finished ,then drives you back to NOLA. He's a very nice guy.
Vehicle is a 2023 SUV that holds up to 7 passengers. $500K insurance.
Shoot me an email at stadrat (a) gmail.com and I'll hook you up. I don't know the price.

say this as an out-of-towner who has enough experience to know that combo-ing New Orleans and a Tiger game isn't as easy as it sounds.
That’s the damn truth….first night in New Orleans has ruined more than one trip for me!

So, this plan sounds great in theory. I tried to do this my first LSU game as a semi-adult and I ended up getting back to New Orleans too late, due to traffic, to want to do anything Saturday night especially after drinking all day. Just get a hotel in BR Friday, walk the campus, enjoy tailgating Saturday, Leave Sunday morning for New Orleans, and maybe catch a Saints game.
