Imagine the weight lifted off this team after this game. Once this toxic game is out of the way, Both Players and coaches can play free and loose because nothing will match the negative energy of this game. No matter the outcome I feel the Lane Train goes on a roll after this week.

I just want to win the game. The rest is white noise.

Put it behind them and start getting ready for A&M.

No time to celebrate or pout come Sunday morning.

We should already be playing free and loose. The pressure isn’t on us this game. Lane may feel some kind of way about it, but the players have no reason to go in with clouded heads

Outside of maybe the former OM players, I don't think the players care as much about everything surrounding the game as the fans. These guys are more akin to paid professionals than ever before. Very few have some sort of deep hatred for Ole Miss...and the same goes for the OM players for LSU. For instance, this is Sam Leavitt's 3rd school in 4 years. He's not from Louisiana or even the south. He has no ties other than he plays for LSU. He wants to win the game for himself and his teammates. But he's not staying up at night feeling anxiety over the thought of letting Ron from Donaldsonville down.

The players are aware it is a big game and that it is a HUGE game for the fans. But once the game starts, it is just a game against a good opponent.

Man I wish we weren't playing A&M right after. I really can't handle losing to those nerds again and we'll be coming down off of a really big high.

Ole Miss has to go to Texas the week after. At least we have a home game at night. We need to beat the Webels so that when they lose in Austin, the Hotty Totty gang will implode.

Im not saying they care as much as the fans do. But theres no way not to feel the toxicity of the game especially for the coaches who came from Ole Miss. And that trickles down to the players. I dont think its some deep thing that will win or lose the game, I just feel like once its out of the way the rest will feel like a breeze compared to that.

As much emotion as there is with the Ole Miss game, I'm much more interested in LSU avenging that embarassing loss to the aggies last season.

A win at Ole Piss is what I want this Saturday! Then we can watch them revert to what they were before Kiffin built them up.
