You can tell they're hurting for season tickets. On top of that I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a waitlist for at least the last 2 seasons.

People are still renewing though and making donations. This tells Alleva the fans strongly support the Coach and the program. It looks like O will be around for 2 more seasons at a minimum. Its up to the fans if they want change in the program.

I think 2 more years of O will be catastrophic. With one more season, make a splash hire with a big name and the 2019 recruiting class will stay in state.

This has very little to do with O, and a lot to do with the the fact that season tickets are hard to justify for (usually) one big game a year.

Plus:

No priority for parking or tailgating spots for season ticket holders over people who are not even going to the game.

Terrible and expensive concessions.

No alcohol for the peons.

Traffic sucks.

As soon as they hired Orgeron and started charging for the levee lots, I stopped even tailgating for games. They don't give a rats arse about the fans, and it's coming around to bite them straight in the behind.

Uninspiring hire + All good OOC games being neutral field + nickle and diming = fans revolting.

The waitlist, from what I understand, was pretty small in 2016 and all those that were waitlisted got tickets in 2017. That's why there is no fee to join the waitlist now, because there isn't a waitlist. They're trying to stop the fiscal bleeding by getting people in the backlog for season tickets when those who get fed up turn theirs loose.

I agree with this. Not that it's the sole reason for no waiting list, but it would be a whole lot more attractive if we were playing The U in Tiger Stadium.

I've been to a few of these out of state openers and if you've done it once, you've done it a thousand times. No longer a novelty.
