Am I missing something? How he is not on the All SEC team is beyond my simple mind.

The man has 88 catches, 14 touchdowns and 1,207 yards receiving. All number one or two in the league. Not to mention he has been clutch in several games this year. His numbers versus top 25 teams are very good..Alabama, Texas etc....How about yards after catch? I can't seem to find any YAC stats, but come on. This man does most of his damage after the catch.

The number one and two guys from Alabama got in. Has Jefferson not had a better season than Bryan Edwards at South Carolina?

88, 14, and 1,207 versus
71,6, and 816

Not to mention run blocking. Watch Jefferson hold his blocks almost better than any other receiver.

Even though you got robbed, great job this year!

Stingley is a huge head scratcher. Especially given he leads the league in interceptions.

I thought I saw something showing him on the second team but not sure what I saw.

That's criminal if so. Bryan Edwards over Jefferson? Really?

ETA I'm confused. This link shows him as 2nd team with Jeudy.

ETAA So there's a coaches team, which Jefferson isn't on, and the AP team, which he makes it.

With the way that the game has evolved, they need to add another WR spot to the all-conference team.

It’s because he’s a freshman and the 2 Bama plays in a big spotlight. So dumb, he’s been incredible all year outside of those plays.

I am too. At least he is mentioned on one of the article's. On the SEC website he isn't listed either.

They're probably gauging fan outrage to adequately place him.

Yeah, I think he's getting overlooked but he's gonna get paid soon.

You’re spot-on. Jefferson was snubbed.

But postseason awards are largely dictated by preseason ballots. Coaches/admins who fill out the ballots are just plain lazy.

Edwards was preseason 2nd team and had the season he was expected to have, so he stayed on the ballot. Jefferson was an afterthought despite being far more deserving.

It goes both ways. Jefferson should have been on it, but no way was Delpit 1st All-SEC. Coaches vote for name players.

So, he's an All American but he's not All-SEC...

I call bullshite. For Stingley AND Jefferson.

Having more players that are deserving than available "all-team" spots sounds like a really good problem for us to have.
