Looks like Jalen isn’t in the starting 5 for today…any guesses why? He’s had ups and downs but it’s no secret we need him

Probably the stay expired. So he is back to being ineligible. Just guessing here.

McMahon isn’t scared to discipline his best players. Did it with Ward too.

I think he can be effective coming off the bench but he seems to sulk if he is not running the point and/or the offense is not flowing through him. For today for sure, we are a much more effective team when the aforementioned is not the case. I hope he can contribute well within this new paradigm .

Not just today. Bama probably was the straw that broke the camel’s back. This has pretty much been the case since the A&M game.

What’s worse is he wants to run a different offense from what McMahon runs & isn’t exactly the best defensive guard I’ve ever seen… seems a bad fit here all around.

That’s what a good coach does. Cook will be a better player for it. Played one of his best all around games today. Defense travels. Sometimes shooting doesn’t.

CMM sat his as down for the piss poor defensive effort and the hero ball.

Look, I've had my issues with CMM from jump but kudos to him for doing it - guy is our highest ceiling player but the way he was playing was hurting the team. It was the right move.

I think McMahon wanted him off the bench for change of pace. He came in with dean and they started trying the pick and roll. I think he’s trying to play him to his strengths.

No. He’s trying to get Cook to play within his system. Cook tends to go rogue during games and hurts the offensive flow. And his defensive effort isn’t where it should be.

Wasn't referring to Georgia, was referring to his piss poor attitude vs KState with his very immature fouls and McMahon only playing him 4 minutes vs Alcorn State which would typically be a game he got a lot of minutes, being a bench player.
