No in person workouts at NFL combine this year

Colleges that allow pro days will be the only way NFL scouts can view in person workouts this year. No in person NFL combine. This could greatly effect players that opted out that weren’t sure fire first rounders. The ‘test well at the combine group’ to improve draft stock won’t happen this year.

More stupidly from the cosmically ignorant. They can play games, sweat and breathe on each other but they can’t workout in an easily distance controllable environment lol.

A lot of the top guys will probably just host their own combines if I had to guess now. Invite scouts, keep it lowkey and whatnot. This is pretty stupid on the NFLs part, the draft is one of their big moneymakers during the off-season and a good way they stay relevant

So the NFL allowed practices and full-contact football games to be played all season, but running drills and working out is too dangerous. Right

Well, in their defense, they arent cancelling the draft

Players that can arrange private workouts are going to reap alot of benefits... in $$$$
Chase is fixing to clean up.
Shelvin is fricked.

You can't travel to one central location, but you can make 100 trips all over the country to different colleges.
Completely retarded.
It would've been smarter to have only the combine, and not allow college pro days.

Not good for "opt outs".

Could def. hurt those who quit to prepare for the draft and weren’t on the field last year.
Posted on 1/19/21 at 9:45 am to Cargeaux89
That will hurt Chase and Marshall.

Just test everyone, isolate them in a hotel, and then do it. Seems simple enough if they feel like it is that big of a threat.

Why would it hurt Chase and Marshall? They can still participate in LSU’s pro day. There have been ex LSU players who were years removed from the team that participated in pro day in the past.
