i'll give the guy credit. i ragged on him for not closing and failing to address needs. he just addressed our biggest need in a yuuuuge way. now let's see what he can do no the field.

The best thing O did at LSU was find a QB that he did not develop but was developed elsewhere, which is still good.

He's done some things that I really like, and some things that I really don't like. The latter had outweighed the former up to this point, but if Burrow actually comes down I'll be back on the fence. I he follows this with a good season (10 wins) and a good recruiting class I'll be in his corner.

What say you guys? Was it the shirtless handshake that sealed the deal?

Good? An SEC ready QB just fell into his lap. This is amazing for O. Great job capitalizing by the staff.

It sets the expectations for this year pretty high. A 4-loss season in 2018 could’ve been overlooked because of new young quarterbacks. Now I think 4 losses means he is shown the door.

At least he can outrecruit Cincinnati for a decent QB!

Give credit where it is due. I had no confidence he could even do that. I was wrong and happy about it

Raising expectations isn’t good for O. His only chance at hanging on to the job long term was to constantly set the bar lower and lower

This.

Winning the SEC would still be overachieving but he should get 10 wins with everything he hand picked on offense.

OC, QB, WR, OL coach.

With this defense and DC he was gifted there isn’t any reason we shouldn’t expect 10-2.

Beating Bama is the white whale and winning at Jordan Hare is never a given, but with his offense and Aranda’s defense there is no reason we can’t expect a win at home against a UGA team that lost their whole backfield and an overrated Miami team with no offense at a neutral site opener.

The rest of the SEC games are should wins or we haven’t improved with our new coaching staff.

Let’s get it done and get to a NY6 Bowl or this thing isn’t ever going to happen.

Counting on graduate transfers at QB to lead your team is a tough way to live, but bravo to Orgeron and the staff for this one.

Is this bigger than him convincing “The Next Michael Vick,” Brent Schaefer, to go to Ole Miss?
That worked out swell.

Some of you SOBs won't give O credit for anything he does no matter what. You bitch about not having a qb and he gets one. Not good enough. We need defensive linemen. He gets them. Noy good enough. Offensive linemen? Done. Not good enough. Bottom line is you're not good enough to be LSU fans. Geaux Tigers!!!
