I.e. causes us to miss the game.

I would hope he would be flying into Lake Front airport but who knows.

I’ve seen it stay foggy over the lake all day plenty of times. The conditions aren’t good right now so good luck.

Hard to say how long it’s going to stick around. That’s out of my lane, I just know how to read them. The forecast lines don’t give much in between info. It just jumps straight to 3 miles at noon central time.

Yeah, that’s a tough one. I’m lucky enough to already be in town.

There are plenty of scenarios in which you are perfectly legal to start the approach. Part 91, being one.

The TAF is fine for both 121/135 ops. The current METAR is not. And RWy 11 has CAT III mins for crews and planes qualified.

Outside of my window at work I still can't see the Huey P Long bridge. Can see the approaches now and the railroad structure, but the river is still covered in a thick soup

If so then gate entry will be easier.

Sitting with my daughter at her doctor office on vets near transcontinental. So 3 or so miles from MSY.

Foggy but not as bad as it was when we got here 30 min ago.

This is why I always travel the day before I need to be somewhere

And Trump is flying into MSY

There are no flights getting in. Surely the fog will lift but definitely makes a wee bit concerning right now.

True. Getting into the gate at Bryant-Denny was a pain in the arse
