Which team will have the greatest claim on being called team of the decade in college football?

As soon as we secure crystal footballs #3 and #4, while playing out of the toughest conference in the land, then I'll believe it.

With two more seasons left, if either USC or tOSU win one it would be a different story

I don't know about that. Eight of the ten years have already been played, and there are really only a handful of teams still with a shot. Outside of LSU, USC, Ohio State and Oklahoma, there's really nobody else who could claim the title after 2009 unless they win the NC this year and next, and there are only a few teams who could claim it even if they did that.

That's one of the better articles put out nationally about Les Miles and LSU. I remember reading an article in the NY Times a year or two ago that made me question if the guy that wrote it even did a basic Google search on LSU football.

"If you want to look at it, I think it's probably a great position for a newcomer at quarterback to get comfortable and understand that the guys that are around him are all capable.'' CLM

many basketball coaches have given the same advice to point guards in less PC terms.

2008-09 outlook: Partly cloudy for next season. Seven starters return on offense, but gone will be quarterback Matt Flynn, running back Jacob Hester and receiver Early Doucet. On defense, 7 starters will depart, including all-everything defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey. Next season will be a forum of sorts on coach Les Miles’ recruiting as well as his and his staff’s ability to coach’em up. If he can’t continue to procure talent and if his luck starts to change when it comes to game-day coaching decisions, Tiger fans may wish he would have said "Yes" to Michigan.

From the same article.

Les has definitely maintained recruiting and may have the top class in the nation this year. Typical MSNBC, make stuff up and disregard the facts. Thus there sell out for B Hussein Obama.
