Show up early at 2:00, help set up, Then leave at 3:00.

If you record the game, you should be able to catch up to live by the 2nd half.

adults should not be obligated to attend children’s birthday parties. ludicrous.

unless it might be your own child.

send the kid a gift and be done with it.

Your family members will die. But LSU is forever. It's even in a nice song.

Like she will remember and hate you forever. Go and stay the whole time. Forget the game.

Sarcasm alert.

I'm sure they will have the TV on the game for the adults.

"A man had 50 yard line tickets for a LSU game.

As he sat down, he noticed that the seat next to him was empty.

He asked the man on the other side of the empty seat whether anyone was sitting there.

"No," the man replied, "The seat is empty."

"This is incredible," said the first man.

"Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the LSU game, the biggest sporting event in the state and not use it?"

The second man replied, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This will be the first LSU game we haven't attended together since we got married in 1967."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else -- a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?"

The man shook his head. "No, they're all at the funeral.""

Is it your sister or brothers kid? Also are you a godfather?

No matter the answer to those questions- Still bail, that’s a dick move to schedule a birthday party at that time.

If her birthday is anything like my kids before they turned 5, then it centered around me cooking a shite ton of food for our friends and drinking a ton of alcohol and watching football.

At halftime you can do cake and ice cream

Unless it's your godchild I don't think you should be obligated. I don't remember my uncles going to my birthday parties.

I skipped my cousins wedding for the 2003 Georgia game. A nieces birthday party shouldn’t even be a question.

My sister wouldn't care if I missed my nephew or niece's bday party at that age if it was an important game. But, I think it depends on your relationship and how much LSU sports dominated your household when y'all were growing up.

Sounds like your sibling was the POS for scheduling the party at 2:30. I'm sure you're not the only one who doesn't want to go due to the timing.

Easy decision, send your wife as a representative, you stay home and watch the game.

This game is on CBS. You'll be caught up after two punts.
