A lot of these people in this thread have never worked for a major corporation and it shows.

Who was his department head?

It’s likely Austin Thomas. I know fans want LSU to be loyal to their alumni players, but they’re employees in a multi million dollar business.

LSU lost to USC and UF causing them to miss the CFB playoffs, where is Kelly's reprimand?

Nobody thinks poorly of Nick, especially not LSU fans who know about him. We know he’s a high character young man and I don’t think that will ever be in question. Sometimes these things happen, that’s life. Nick will land on his feet and do well because that’s what happens to good people like Nick. To take a shot at BK making your comment is poor taste. This likely had less to do with Nick and his performance and more about the quickly changing landscape of CFB. It is what it is.

well put

Don’t forget planning for a back up running QB…. Or a 42-13 beat down by Bama!

I wonder how Patrick Kelly is performing. I know people want dads to be loyal to their kids, but they are employees in a multi million dollar business.

Not surprising in the slightest. Yet people that love BK will be dumbfounded as to why people don't like him.

With analysts now able to coach on the field, it sounds like we'll be bringing in more seasoned vets with on field experience.

Apparently Kelly's severance package is a little bit different than Brossette's and Stevens'

Well at least we know the HR rep was competent. There should never be a reason given in this state.

Why does everyone defend BK so much? It’s so ridiculous honestly. You sound like the people who hated Les miles being fired

Taking shots at BK is justified when he’s a bad football coach.

What's Patrick Kelly job title? The only thing I see him doing is tweeting Tiger emojis...

Suggesting Brossette will have a brighter future is an emotional childish response. Another dumb frick that doesn’t understand how the world works.

Stop defending BK like we should have any hope in him. Marcus freeman has Notre Dame farther than BK ever did, why should we expect he can do anything here?
