Reality is that the starters had to play the whole game against Arkansas. Tells you where this defense is.

Yeah this is stupid. They CHOSE to play some guys late into the game, they didn’t have to. There’s a difference.

Only thing that shows you is our coaches think our defense needs time to learn more. Our defense is young

they sure did. arky only got their late TD's on a very freakish on side kick and a number of key no calls from the officials. it's like the refs (and the clock operator) felt sorry for them.

No they didn't. That was punishment for shitting the bed the week before. O told them going in they lost focus last week against OM after the half, so their asses were playing focused for 60 minutes this week or he was going to find someone that would.

No, our defense is not young. We have a VERY veteran defensive front four and backups. Our linebackers are a good mix a seasoned veterans (Queen and Phillips) and young guys (Clark and Baskerville). Our starting are all extremely experienced except for Stingley. DB is the only place on this defense where we are inexperienced at the backup positions. For a college defense, this one is salty.

There were defensive subs all game long. The entire defensive roster that will ever play, played last night. The young guys had a lot more f work.

We definitely tried to pressure more...now if only the coaches would stay with that philosophy

Would have been nice for them to stay focused for the entire 60 minutes so we didn't give the committee more cover to move us put of 1st place.

They played great (as did the offense) until the last 8-9 minutes.

I don't know if there were lots of subs in there late, but the Tigers really got sloppy toward the end
