Holy crap if those two get on a groove out of the pen this year, we may become invincible.

I wouldn't say either were "pumping strikes." But Moffett seems to be getting close. With SEC play starting and Anderson likely moving to weekends, Moffett and Johnson will hopefully get some more opportunities to prove themselves in the midweek

Should be playing first base. If he was better than Morgan he’s definitely better than Jones.

It's a joke based on actual posts from the OP

Johnson threw some strikes but wasn't pumping them in there. He will be a good one but he is so raw now.

I liked what I saw from Moffitt. He was throwing an easy 95-96 and had more control then Johnson.

Helmers looked good to me with a little more movement on his stuff. I liked how they talked about him taking a leadership role on the team.

Little, Bronzi, and all the pictures looked good to me, but Johnson is going to need to work on control some.

Chicken shite attitude.

You don't think a bunch of young hitters will get better as the season goes along?

What were you expecting. Everybody to mash homers and win every game by 10 run rule. If so you weren't paying attention to the guys we have this year.

Better than a 9 to 10 loss

I've been on Team Hellmers since he should have been starting 1B his freshman year.

I know y'all remember.

What's missing is the Rant's inability to parse "Hellmers should have been at 1B during that time" from "Hellmers was better than Morgan".

I am not entirely sure this happens. It will be interesting to see how Jay intends to use Anderson moving forward. But I also want to see more Moffett and Cam Johnson but Cam does need to continue to develop his command and consistency with throwing strikes. But very encouraged.

Maybe not a save opportunity yet, but if we have a 4-5 run lead I can see them getting a final inning or two to see if they can just come in and beat things up. 95+ from either the left or right side and 90% FBs, can see a lot of SEC action if they are in the zone.

I never said they were going to.
