Shores is considered a top 120 MLB prospect. He just completed 3 years at LSU and we won 2 National Championships in his 3 years here. Why would he come back??

And… please don’t say to improve his draft prospects

I understand what you are saying, and I don't think Shores comes back. There is just a few flaws in what you said.

1- Shores would not lose his leverage by coming back.

2- If Shores returned and shows an ability to throw strikes, throw 98-100 mph strikes, improve his other pitches a bit, and do it all for 5-6 innings, his draft stock would improve from top 120 to 1.1.

It would be a massive gamble on himself, and I don't think there is much of a chance at all he takes it. Just saying, Shores returning isn't the same as say Eyanson/Jones/Dickinson returning.

A little premature to make this claim.

Shores would be an idiot toncome back to college. He also couldn't throw strikes from the wind up. He got locked in as a reliever going 100% from the stretch. Hes going to be in a MLB bullpen next year.

Yea, you bashed the hitting and pitching all season.

Then they won a championship. Conclusion is, you have no clue what you are looking at.

Look who is calling the kettle black.

he must of learned from you Lester on the bashing part. Or Hold That Tiger

This is funny shite right here. A basher who is calling out a basher.

He was far better than stable! Dude was a stud that only had 5 errors all season. Incredible defense!

If Cowan can add 3-5mph and a 3rd pitch to go along with that change, dude could be absolutely filthy.

Cowan isn’t a two pitch guy! Did you watch him pitch at all?

It’s because cooper usually came in with base runners already inherited and when he gave those up it didn’t count towards his ERA. But he did pitch well down the stretch.

Evans is the only one listed that makes me comfortable and not worry which version we are getting. But annually people say it’s our best staff ever.

He pretty much was most of the year. I would guess he threw that little breaking pitch 15% of the time and many times not for a strike

Cowan had a 3rd pitch. Y’all are clueless

Dude had like 3 bad outings out of 22.

The hitting was bad, thats a fact. Starting pitching and defense carried the day

I agree with you on the pitching and defense it did carry us. The bats were bad at a certain point in the season but not the whole season. They did have a little lull with the bats no doubt.

You sir are correct, but that day all we knew was him at second. Seeing the infield changing positions between scrimmages I knew they would be good but that infield was outstanding.
