Limits on scholarships doesn't change the fact that you're a prestigious program that has gotten mostly top 10 recruiting classes for decades.
Ole Miss wasn't pulling top 10 classes for 2.5 decades.

Kelly has had 2 full seasons at LSU and he reached the SEC Championship in 1 of them.

And what the frick does that matter? He’s won nothing. He lost his best weapon in the portal. He’s accomplished nothing. This kind of shite just shows you just don’t like Kelly. Kiffin has won nothing at any point in his career.

It was year 1 after taking over a gutted roster from Coach O with a transfer QB that no one else wanted. OP is envious of how quickly other coaches are turning their programs around but no one in the SEC made as big of a turnaround as Kelly did year 1

Look, I'm not calling for a replacement or speaking ill of the man.
I'm simply sharing my opinion that we are starting to get an idea of where his ceiling is, and where LSUs "place" will be in the new SEC with BK at the helm.
You can say what you want, but hes been dropping games to other coaches, working with less. If he loses to Lane again, after dropping two to Norvell, 1 to Kiffin, 1 to Riley, while some of these other programs continue to make strides, it is what it is.
All I'm saying is that this game is a big marker.

He’s won national championships as a coordinator and he doesn’t have his AARP card, so you’re comparing apples to rotten oranges.
And winning the SEC west with 3 losses at LSU really isn’t what this program should be beating its chest about. Crazy how much expectations have fallen.

So Kiffin is in year 5 at Ole Miss. This is 100% his program, with 4 full recruiting cycles, a seemingly unlimited NIL transfer budget, and a $9 million salary.
