My take

QB: Mettenberger (unless he is not the real deal)
RB: Ford/Ware, spelled by Blue, Hilliard/Hill
FB: Copeland/Worle
WR1: Randle spelled by Boone
WR2: Wright, spelled by Landry/Williams
Slot: Shepard/Tolliver spelled by Gore/Fobbs/OBJ
TE: Peterson spelled by Clement/Edwards
RT: Hurst spelled by Washington
RG: Dworaczyk spelled by Williford
C: Lonegran spelled by Hebert
G: Blackwell spelled by Williford
LT: Faulk spelled by Collins

Defense

WDE: Montgomery/Edwards/Maclin/[Drew]
DT: Downs/Ego/[Jernigan]
DT: Brockers/Freak/Logan
SDE: Adams/Mingo/[Rasco]
SLB: Francois/Barrow/Welter
MLB: Minter/[CJ Johnson]
WLB: Baker/Barrow
CB: Claiborne
CB: Simon
SS: Reid/Taylor
FS: Loston
Hate: Mathieu (new position, will sub in for Francois or one of the safeties, depending on the situation)

No idea on special teams.

One small point - Spencer Ware is going to make people forget about Ford.

I like your optimism. I'll be happy if we get two of those.

DT/MLB is a huge concern. Teams are going to try to gash us up the middle next year. We will be tested early in the Oregon game.

Yall can't seriously believe that they will take their best playmaker on defense off the field do u?....The only time Mathieu will move from one of the corner positions is when the opponents offense goes to a three receiver set. When Claiborne was out who played the boundary corner unless they were in nickel? Mathieu did!!!! Also he will be returning punts next year.

I think Craig Loston will be returning punts, as long as he works on a lil more speed...He returned a few of them back in High school....Ty matt to play defense/ kickoffs and kick returns is a bit much.

Like many others, I am optimistic about 2011 and seeing the projected lineups folks have posted has helped me realize just how much talent we have coming back. A little worried about LB - as many have noted - and just a bit worried about our size at DT. Anyway, we have areas of concern, but most teams would love to have the talent we have even at question mark positions.

The injuries this year to the OL seem to have put us in great shape for next year in terms of depth and replacing Barksdale. Correct me if I'm wrong but the two "newest" faces among the starters will be Faulk and Hurst and both of them played a bunch this year. Hebert and Lonergan have both played C and G, so whoever doesn't start at C presumably would be the backup G and this is all without relying on any RS Fr. It is going to be a long offseason for me!

This will never happen. I promise Loston won't be returning punts.

What about bailey? He's been learning the offense for two years now, and I think he atlease deserves a chance.

Go back to U-high and leave the football to people over the age of 16

I think he will start JJ out of loyalty. I mean this year there was plenty of times when JJ wasn't performing too well, and the truth is I think Barrett Bailey could of come in and possibly done really well. Bailey has speed, smarts, he cool in the pocket, and he can really throw the ball. It's a real shame that mett is coming, not that he won't be good but that we most likely will never be able to see what Bailey could have done. I just could of seen him being another Flynn and coming off the bench after a few years in the shadows to really run our offense.
