I know one of you have figuared it out or Dandy Don has. Excluding Qb because we won't know about Mett until spring ball, I don't see too many holes (other than A-hole Rantards!)

Linebacker is my only worry...Sheppard was like a QB out there...he will be missed for sure. Other than that...LET ER RIP!

Don't forget the likes of guys that could come in and make a big impact like Freak Johnson and Jarvis Landry.

I think Shepard is a waste of space as a WR. He just looks lost out there.

Also i have never been impressed with Faulk..big guy for sure...but bad footwork. I think Hurst stays at RT and Collins takes the LT position.

Francois hasnt seemed to be much of a playmaker at OLB...but he must be doing something right to stay in there.

He doesn't stay in there. We play nickel 85% of the time bc of his ineffectiveness and Tyrann's play making

Shep will be fine....hes still getting use to the WR position, shouldnt be any excuses 2011. I know most of you are on the JJ bandwagon but I think zack mett will utilize are WR's more.....R shep needs the ball fast to him and to lead him...thats just the type of player he is.

I think Simon gets the start as CB with TM continuing his role as nickel back/blitz monster.

As good as TM is, and he's now one of my favorite tigers, he is small and may not match up well vs some of the big WRs in the SEC.

One small point - Spencer Ware is going to make people forget about Ford.

I would like to see Dworaczyk win the left tackle spot, Hurst moved back to right guard and Faulk/Shaw at right tackle. Blackwell at the other guard and Lonergan at center.

We are pretty stacked at DE so I doubt Clowney would come to LSU but who knows.

What about JC Copeland....where does he fit in?!?...are they going to play him on the D-line or keep using him as a full back?

My prediction...

QB: Jefferson/Mett/Lee
RB: Ware/Ford/Blue/Gore (Hilliard, Hill, Magee)
FB: Stampley/Copeland/Worle
WR: Randle/Wright/Tolliver/Williams
WR: Shepard/Boone/Landry/Fobbs
TE: Peterson/Clement/
RT: Faulk/Shaw/Washington
RG: Dworaczyk/Wiliford
C: Lonergan/Hebert
LG: Blackwell/Branch
LT: Hurst/Collins

DEFENSE
DE: Montgomery/Edwards/Aghayere
DT: Brockers/Johnson/Davenport
DT: Downs/Ferguson/Logan
DE: Adams/Mingo/Allen
LB: Baker/Jones
MLB: Minter/Barrow/Randle
LB: Francois/Maclin
CB: Claiborne/Calhoun
CB: Simon/Brooks
FS: Taylor/Reid/Vinson
SS: Hatcher/Loston/Gibson
NB: Mathieu

K: Alleman
P: Wing
RS: Shepard/Randle

I think both of the safeties that started this year (Taylor and Hatcher) will be the starters come spring, but will be fighting off Reid and Loston all Spring and Fall. I expect all four to play a lot and would be surprised if Hatcher is a starter to start the season.

I think we'll play Nickel a lot and have Mathieu fill the same role as this year, but also see him playing a lot at corner over Simon.

I almost put Mettenberger ahead of Jefferson, but decided not too. I'm 50/50 with who will start, maybe a slight lean to Mett now that we're getting a new OC.

If Copeland stays at FB, I could see him being our #1 FB over Stampley, who I was unimpressed with.

Jarvis Landry will be a factor on offense next year IMO. We use a lot of receiver sets and a lot will play.

Gore and Blue may be replaced with Hilliard, Hill, and Magee. I also heard Gore was working as a slot receiver and Blue with the LBs, so we'll have to re-assess after the Spring.

OL should be much improved next season as Dworaczyk and Lonergan will have another years experience and some more time to bulk up. I expect Hurst to move to LT as he is more experienced, but wouldn't be surprised if Faulk is there. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Hurst at LT and Collins at RT.

MLB will be tough with Minter and Barrow fighting for Sheppard's job. Randle may have a shot to start as well. Although Francois was underwhelming this year, I don't know who could start above him.

Qb: JJ or Mett - Mett will start with new OC. I dont see JJ having any advantage with a new offense to learn.
RB: Ford, Ware, Blue - Wow is that some speed
FB: Stampley
WR: Randle, Wright, Shepard, Boone -WR is a strength of this team if Mett proves to be a QB who can throw downfield
TE: Peterson , Clement - May be best in the SEC with a good QB
