Im pretty sure his bosses had to okay this unbelievable stupid hire and absurd contract. So they are complicit in this. Not one of these dumbasses stopped and said this a bad idea to give a coach (an overrated coach at that)such a long arse deal. No contract should have been approved for longer than 5 years. Keep in mind this is after all the crazy money buyouts of O and his multiple staff changes.

Why would Lane not come?

Because he and his family would have to live in Baton Rouge

Please tell us exactly why Kiffin would choose Florida over LSU? Because I cant think of any reason why at the moment.

Living conditions, safety, taxes.
BR is a shite hole !
Lane can get all our local talent he wants from Gainesville via portal. Our talent base is no longer a reason to endure living in BR

Eli Drinkwitz +
Brain Hartline +
Dan Mullen +
Jon Sumrall as last resort.

I would take Lane but doubt that happens.

Love this.

Can’t wait for another reset after this one is 3 years old.

New coach. Transfer exodus. 2 years ago roster rebuild. High school recruits decommit. Won’t have a good class for another year and a half. Those kids have to mature. That’s another 2 years. Fill up with transfers that have to learn a new system or weren’t good enough to start on their previous team. That’s a year worth of learning a new system. It’s a never ending cycle. I don’t see any of you have the patience for it.

Oh wait, you don’t. So once it doesn’t work next time and the next coach isn’t Nick Saban, you’ll want get rid of him and you’ll be starting over….again.

It’s actually to the point where it’s not even worth following this program anymore.

Add the Vandy coach to that list. He outreached our multi-million dollar staff and roster all day yesterday.

I have to admit the John sumrall is an intriguing because he came from under Kentucky being a co-defensive coordinator with Kentucky. Before that he was with Ole Miss 2018 linebackers coach spent 2 years at Troy compiling a 23 and four record and two conference championships and has done really well at Tulane intriguing because it looks like he is a program builder and a young guy and I think if LSU were to go six and six which at that time I think Mr. Woodward will have no choice but to pull the trigger one way or another. I don't know if he's going to go to shack or Pennington or whoever. I think triggers will have to be pulled. Sumrall you might be able to get him for not a whole lot of money which would save you in the long run. We shall see what happens but no doubt about it. It's Saturday night coming up against a&m is Brian Kelly's Waterloo. If you can win that game I'm sure his butt is safe. If he loses I figured they will should then lose to Alabama. Probably lose to Arkansas. Beat Western Kentucky lose to Oklahoma. That's going to be a hard pill to swallow my friends
