Newfound appreciation for Lyn Rollins and Ronnie Rantz

After being traumatized listening to that abortion of a broadcast yesterday with Auburn's tandem of Butch and Sundance. That was quite possibly the worst announce team I've ever heard. My ears are still bleeding.

I'm fine without Lyn's overused one liners. It's easy to appreciate what we have when we're comparing against last weekend's short bus commentary crew.

He sounded a lot better than those two auburn mouth breathers. After about 2 innings my ears were bleeding. Had to find an alternative.

I wish we had Lyn and Ben for the whole season. Sometimes, Rantz tries too hard to be unbiased. So much so that he sounds like a fan of the other team.
ETA: Still Lyn and Rantz are wayyyyyy better than what other fanbases have to deal with.

I agree, as I would just mute the sound instead of going through 3 hours of the announcing team of the Auburn Hillbilly and the Dyke show.
I think before this shite I thought Ronnie and Lynn were annoying but now I never knew how good I had it.
My 1st choice is Ben and whoever else but Ronnie & Lynn is OK by me!

This is why I don't get when people complain about our guys. I have watched enough SEC baseball over the years to know we have the best broadcasters. At least in my opinion.

Yep, listening to the others make you realize we got it pretty good with Lyn and Rantz. Rantz is a little iffy sometimes but it's ok.
The two worst this season have to be the jack wagons from S. Carolina and the Auburn duo.

I plugged in my fender and ran through headphones and played. You don't need announcers in baseball to tell you what's going on. They were horrible. Nothing redeeming.
