Good to see him in that interview. His life could have easily taken the wrong path.

Without Miles we never get him.

Without Perrilloux...we don't win the 2007 BCS Championship.

I don’t and won’t. Who was 3rd string that year? Was it—gasp—true freshman Jarrett Lee? Yeah, we ain’t beating Tennessee with him.

I didn’t watch the interview. What is RP doing these days?

if RP stayed out of trouble, I think LSU definitely had a good shot in 2009 with the defense being as good as it was.

bullshite. Jarret Lee playing in his place, and being the interception machine is what turned Miles into the conservative coach he is known to be.

What's crazy about that is, Jordan Jefferson is one of the winningest quarterbacks in LSU football history. Let that sink in.

I know your point is probably that we had so much talent around him, we won in spite of him. But I think he’s pretty underrated. Dude was a winner.

Andrew Hatch. Remember when Flynn faked an injury after his chinstrap broke against Bama? Hatch trots on the field then someone woke Les up and told him to call a TO to get Flynn back in.

eta: RP was suspended that game.

I remember him coming in in key situations in the Florida game that year and picking up a couple of first downs. I think he also got the start against Middle Tennessee because of a Flynn injury and had a great game.

I don't think he was any worse than Jalen Hurts. Had he had a competent staff supporting the athletes on that team, putting them in positions to be successful, he would be looked like in a different way. People(myself included) shite on him, and we often forget he in the only LSU QB in the last decade to beat Bama twice. Sure there were a slew of head knockers, but seeing what we've seen this past year, lets me know that it was 90% coaching issues, and maybe 10% talent issues.

When I hear that name, I think of the App St game where it felt like we were playing on the surface of the sun....

Awesome interview. It's cool to see how he has become a great role model for the kids he works with. He will never be forgotten for his role during that natty season.
