That sort of stuff is what usually happens to people that commit sex crimes. In addition to prison.

This guy isn't having it any harder than anyone else who did something similar.

Rumor here in Gumpland is that he will serve 9 months or less, that is, if he does not hang out too much in the wrong places when he gets free time.

Or take it one step further...what if instead of an 18 year old male, it was an 18 year old female he did this to...you know...as a joke?

Still too severe?

Honestly, I couldn't care less about this guy or what he got in regards to a sentence. My bigger question is, what kind of a person sees a passed out guy and decides that the best way to embarrass him is to yank our your cock and balls and put them on his mouth? This may just be me, but I'm almost positive that I'd have come up with several dozens things before the idea of pressing my junk against another guys mouth...

I hate the Gumps but the penalty is too severe in my opinion. Now, if he'd curb-stomped the guy instead, that'd be different!

You're right! He should have a choice:
a). Do two years AND register as a sex offender, or
b). Do the ten years allowed for sexual assualt

Punishment deserved. In what parallel universe are we living in that people think it's acceptable for a grown man to rub his genitals on a passed out 18 yr-old?

Not absolving the criminal at all, but can we please stop pretending 18 year olds are children?

I agree. I think 2 years is about right considering he will only serve about 9 of those. Our justice system is already too soft as it is and reading this thread I see why. Too many bleeding hearts.

Did he apologize for it?

Only after he got caught like any other criminal.

I've heard that it was his choice to do the jail time so he won't have to register as a sex offender. He has a child and if he had to register he wouldn't be able to go to any of his child's school functions.

If you are passed out because you are a drunk moron at a public place in New Orleans, you deserve just about whatever comes your way.

So passed out college girls deserve to get raped?

No?

Then what's different about this? Oh...because it was two guys involved so it can't be a sexual act. Is that your thought process?

When I was younger and more immature, I might have done something stupid to the guy (i.e., something harmless like painting a mustache/goatee on his face with a Marks-a-Lot...certainly not pulling out my junk and rubbing on his face).

But now that I'm older, when I see guys passed out like that, I just leave them alone and move on.

There was a passed out drunk gump at an lsu tailgate in November 2011.

He was obnoxious and drunk, but entertaining. So we got him a chair to sit in.

He started losing consciousness and passing out so we called the police over to get him some help getting back to wherever he came from.

.. Helping someone out when they are obviously in a bad spot..

You know, like any decent human would do...
