I wonder why Houston isn't on that list. H-town probably has the highest number of LSU alumni outside of Louisiana.

The fact that that website puts New Orleans population in the 900,000s

My understanding is that the New Orleans market includes much more than just the city of New Orleans. Is it possible that Baton Rouge is in that market? Much in the same way that Baton Rouge weather updates, watches and warnings come from the New Orleans center.

This would also explain why the population is listed in the 900,000s

New Orleans has both more people living in the city and more people living in the Metro Area:

Bama fans on the SEC Rant. They don’t have any love for LSU,

In general, I think Bama fans respect LSU and like us. Those two markets (NO and BHam) are usually on top of these lists if there is a Southern team in a game like this anyway.

Yeah even by his link NOLA is bigger. However, those numbers are still off. Even according to the actual 2010 census, NOLA MSA was close to 1.2 mil and Baton Rouge Was around 800k for MSA. Both have grown since then, but NOLA by more.

Yes, especially the way Houston is over-glorified on the O-T. Even ATL carried big numbers.

Bama wanted is to lose so damn bad lol. They hate LSU with snlsssion. If any of y'all believe that they were actually pulling for LSU to win Monday night, y'all are crazy. You know how we hate bama? Yeah, well it's definitely reciprocated from their end. They try to act like they don't hate us bc they don't want to seem scared like they truly are of LSU...but they are scared, they hate us like we have them, and they don't want LSU to catch up with their program bc we are the only program that can go head up with them, kick their arse, and take over their spot in the sec and on the national stage. LSU worries them like no other, I promise you. frick Dem! RTWFU!

As an LSU fan in Birmingham this isn't the case. Check the top 5 ratings for the Super Bowl in a few weeks. Birmingham just likes football.

Where’s Baton Rouge on that list? Is the population too small to make the cut?
