Looks like a high school gym

I'm sure that gym would be more than adequate for ULL's basketball team to play in. That cajundome does look bad arse with 94% of the seats empty though. The LHSAA messed up when they moved the top 28. It was the best basketball played in that building.

Lsu needs to take out seats in the 300 level on both sidelines and build boxes. Certainly it can be done.

Why can't every fan just go to the damn game and just sit in a regular seat for two hours like everyone else. Why must there be elite seating for some corporations to rent and use for maybe a fourth of the time. Most fans in those boxes would be disengaged from the game and add little to the atmosphere.

Hopefully the program can progress to the level those 3,000 to 4,000 seats you would like to displace are also in demand again.

The gymnastics team has no problem filling the Deaf Dome to the rafters. Why would you want to shut out a third of their fan base?

Leave the the PMAC as it is, make whatever aesthetic improvements are feasible, support Coach Wade in the Fantastic Climb to the Top part 2. We don't need elitism, we need the committed fans who once made a trip to LSU a feared venture for visiting teams.

Well because suites used for 1/4 of the time equals more money than some rafter seats used 1/4 of the time. That would be my guess.

The LSU athletic department is doing quite well financially and does not need the extra revenue is such would even be generated. Again, a significant part of the gymnastic fan base should not be displaced for a few elitists for a few games a year. Build a program and those seats will be in high demand again.

How much use do you think your proposed suites would have generated this past season or even lets say in Johnny Jones first couple of seasons when they were 9-9 SEC and won 18 to 20 game.

In good to great seasons the seats will be used . In average to below average there will be no demand suites or not. II know they would still get the rent, but at some point LSU needs to quit catering to the blowhard self importants.

Actually averaged 3,800

Nice try though

McNeese averaged 653

Talk about going to be an empty gym

BULL shite.

Maybe that many sold, but they dont have that many asses in the seats. I've been to a few ULL basketball games because I can get some free suite tickets. They had NO WHERE near 3,000 people in there any time.

Maybe I went to some shitty games where they had 500 people, and they had 7,000 for some other games but I doubt that seriously.

But anyway...you only proved my point that USL couldn't fill the 5,000 seat gym that Mcneese will have. I would guess the attendance will go up quite a bit with the new gym just based on the location, and how much easier it will be for students to get to.

That is an ignorant statement.

The lowest attendance was listed at 3100+

So out of 3100 tickets sold only 500 people showed up?

I am telling you that there was nowhere near 3,000 people in there in any game I've gone to. It was a few people scattered throughout the white seats behind the benches and thats it.

First, let's build a team.

Lots of folk on here who are Tiger fans live in LC and have a fondness for McNeese as well. I understand it's an LSU site but try thinking outside the box a little.

YESSIR. It it has been proven that a good product will bring fans to the PMAC and that the PMAC CAN be loud. Hell, one of the best atmospheres in that building in last decade was the Oklahoma game a couple years ago. Instead of taking out seats, let's see if the new coach can give people a reason to fill those seats again.

....averaged 3,800?!?!?!?!

What a load of horse sh#t. The Cajun Dome is pretty much empty for most of the Cajuns home games. And these people are laughing at McNeese attendance numbers.

The only reason the Cajuns average 3,800 fans is cause they lie their azzes off about that figure. FACT
