I think you guys read in to this wrong. IMHO, the new president is solidifying our traditions. Heck, we’ve got a black president - go mess with another school is how I see it.

You’re confusing respect and admiration with obsession. We absolutely should be learning from the man and applying similar tactics to our own program. Only a moron would disagree.

Personal definitions of CRT are irrelevant.
The end result will undoubtedly be the same...

Whitey = bad.

Good message but not even close to what Dem Perez was spewing. No one is preaching segregation. And corn dogs are pretty tasty

He's not Gary Chambers or Al Sharpton. He's bright, young and happy to be here in Baton Rouge.
Welcome the man to LSU and give him a shot.

I'm all for this but we need to find a constructive way to let him know our disliking for CRT and that we want our traditions protected

If he meddles to that extent, he won't be here long. The real money won't stand for that.

I'm sorry, but you would have to be one stupid mother f*cker to actually believe that after reading anything dealing with the CRT garbage that he espouses. And, as far as "his people's opportunities," we've had quotas, affirmative action, and now "diversity" for over 50 f*cking years. "His people" have gotten academic admissions they didn't deserve, jobs they didn't deserve, promotions they didn't deserve, government contracts they didn't deserve, government aid just because of the color of their skin, etc. And, this has been going on for more than a generation.

And, yet, this IGNORANT F*CKING SCUMBAG thinks this isn't enough for "his people" and wants more OUTRIGHT and OVERT RACIST discrimination because of the "systemic racism" in our society. THAT IS RACISM. And anyone who supports this racist GARBAGE is a RACIST.

The reverse racist crowd is STRONG in this thread.

Man after 50 years of persecution’s its amazing we still make up 70% of LSU’s student role.

We have over come so much.

You just have to love how ignorant racist filth just summarily dismiss ACTUAL government-sponsored systemic racism when it's right in front of their faces. Pure f*cking hate and ignorance.

so, will this go the way of the Washington football team? We just ditch any kind of mascot or nickname and call them football, baseball, basketball team?

Know how we know you’re ignorant? There’s no such thing as reverse racism. There’s just racism.

David Duke and anyone that supports white supremacy is a racist.

William Tate, you, draconian sanctions, and anyone else that supports critical race theory is a racist.

There is no “reverse”

One of my favorite prog buzzwords. Blacks shoot and kill each other at a 75% rate over things as trivial as scuffing shoes and you progs think they’re so delicate they can’t get an ID, but whites are fragile

Not a single person in this thread cares that the man is black. We are arguing against his harmful ideology. Only the leftists in this thread want to make it about race.

It's definitely not the innocuous definition that the far left proponents try to sell to the public.

In its basic form it's racist hate. In fact, if you just change "black" to "Aryan" and "Jew" to "white," it's essentially based on the same garbage peddled by the Nazis.

Here is a good starting point to understand its history and attempts to deceive the public about its real racist ideology .....

From the article......

quote:

Its supporters deploy a series of euphemisms to describe critical race theory, including “equity,” “social justice,” “diversity and inclusion” and “culturally responsive teaching.” Critical race theorists, masters of language construction, realize that “neo-Marxism” would be a hard sell. Equity, on the other hand, sounds nonthreatening and is easily confused with the American principle of equality. But the distinction is vast and important.

If you really wanna look into its history, it started out as Critical Legal Theory at Harvard law school in the 1980s with far left racist scum like Derek Bell and Duncan Kennedy.

That’s the beauty of CRT applied in conjunction with a crooked biased media and a percentage of the citizens that are insane - if you oppose CRT in any way, you ARE what it campaigns against. Disagreement on any basis equals racist.
