Coach Aranda building an impressive staff. Can't wait to see what he does with the offense in 2019

I don’t get it. Y’all bitch when we hire shadow staff from small schools cuz they aren’t big names and now you belittle this big name hire as “just shadow staff”?

By big name I mean NFL coordinator experience.

nice

According to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports, longtime assistant Kevin Coyle is joining the Tigers as a defensive analyst. He served as the defensive backs coach for the Cincinnati Bengals for the past two seasons.

Coyle has been an NFL assistant since 2001. He coached for the Bengals from 2001-11 before serving as defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins from 2012-15. Coyle rejoined the Bengals in 2016.

Coyle also has college coaching experience. He served as an assistant for Cincinnati, Arkansas, Holy Cross, Syracuse, Maryland and Fresno State in a career that dates back to 1978.

Coyle parted ways with the Bengals in January.

At LSU, Coyle will coach under defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, who is entering his third season with the Tigers.

He’s more qualified to be head coach than Orgeron.

These extra coaches will pay off greatly to study film from opponents tape or tape from plays we should run from other teams (like the visits to Seattle, Saints, San Diego), prep film for the team meetings, give their analysis on what we do at practice and in games (especially from experienced guys like Coyle), which should overall make our team more disciplined and better.

You gotta love the OL hire, this guy, Special Teams coach and the safety coach- All NFL experience!!!

All these minds at the conference room table gives O, Esm, and Aranda a lot of new ideas to put our players in a better position to make plays.
