New band building???

whats the status of this? We heard all last year about the struggle they were having raising the matching funds for the project. Now we don't hear a peep about it. Did some big money donor step up or what?

Dude the band is an integral part of my gameday experience. The band still warms up in the same exact space they did in the early 70's when my brother was in the band. Drink 1.5 cases of beer instead of three and drop tens bucks in the till

What a shitty attitude. The band building was built to house 125 and it is housing over 300. It desperately needs to get done

A cardboard box will keep you dry so why should you live in a house. What a shitty arse attitude. You have no idea how hard the members of our illustrious Tiger Band work each and every day and you also haven't bothered to check how bad the current band hall is.

LSU fans talk about how great the band is and how much they support them. Then let's see it. The Buckeyes are one of the few schools that i know of where the fans love and support their band more than LSU. They have arguably the best band center in the nation (funded by George Steinbrenner's wife, an OSU alum).

The band is intregal in the whole atmosphere of college football experience. You that post against the band just don't understand.

If any of you have ever been inside the building you would see just how bad it really is. Its holding way more people than it was intended to and they have zero storage space so there is just equipment all over the place. There isn't hardly enough space to move. I can't believe some of the things I'm seeing some of you write.
So I guess our NC had nothing to do with are practice facilities. If I was a band member and saw some of these things you were writing I would debate on whether or not to keep playing. They are the sprint of Tiger stadium people, can you actually imagine a game without them?

i appreciate the band and i hope they get a new building but yeah i dont care enough about it to donate money. gas is expensive.

Hopefully band members realize these comments represent a very small percentage of the overall LSU fanbase. Most LSU fans love the band and have/will donate.

why does everyone have to keep ponying up. i mean tickets are up, mand. donations, taf, etc. and now the band, jesus. i love the band, but go sell some candy, wash some cars or something f@ck
