Caller did not say he was practicing. Only said he was working out in the weight room and his name was put back on the roster.

Would be nice to hear some news about Ingram's situation from LSU, just because I like most others am curious.

I wouldn't be that surprised if our compliance dept reviewed the rules, decided that the drinking of water at any time was an attempt to dilute a sample, and jerk the water girl off the practice field by her hair.

That's how they view the world off college athletics.

Uncooperative is the best term. They work with the NCAA rule book, not with our programs.

Just for some clarification both the NCAA and LSU view "using facilities" and "practicing" as two completely different things. Suspension doesn't necessarily mean loss of both. I imagine Taylor was barred from both.

This may be news or nothing at all.

Time will tell.

As they should. The ramifications of losing a few good players is a drop in the bucket compared to the long-term damage that NCAA sanctions can do to a program.

It's my understanding that he was never taken off of the lsusports.net roster but he was omitted from all of the printed rosters given out to boosters.

He’s never been taken off LSU sports roster. The fact that Tyler Taylor’s name is still on there should be a clue.

Ingram is suspended the 1st 4 games of the REGULAR season, not having anything to do with the preseason.
