True. LF7 was a good leader last year. I haven't seen the same this year. I hope he isn't "playing it safe" for the NFL.

Maybe he was thinking "my boys are out there getting some with Danny E, and I gotta stand over here with you"

I'd be pissed too

From what I have observed and read in the past about LF, I think he will handle the QB situation just fine.

I believe he will encourage both Etling and Harris. It will be easier to tell this Saturday, if as expected, he returns to the lineup.

I think LF was supporting his teammate during a tough time. If I got booed by my home crowd I would be pretty upset too.
But yeah I agree he should suck it up and just grind harder in practice.

What do you make of his attitude on the sideline?

I think he was trying to be supportive at the time. Believe me winning games and seeing his teammates doing well will light his fire to participate at his usual outstanding level.

I actually thought it was a quandary for Fournette. Allegedly he went off on somebody or something in the locker room at Lambeau... not sure who or what but I can speculate why. The quandary is that for LF to thrive BH had to sit. I am sure he is pretty close to BH and thus it was a personal hit but an opening door. Do you all realize since Fournette has been on the field at LSU we have had the worst QB play of Miles tenure and now with just a game manager average QB kinda guy LF could have the best games of his career in front of him now!

Dupre and Dural need reps with etling. I'm sure his throws are different than BH

Yeah they hit them in the hands.

I would think Fournette was probably bummed out because he wasn't able to play in the home opener.

I'm not sure about you, but it looked like the team came alive after Desean's TD and a forward pass was completed.

He played injured game one, ran angry in the second half. He took the team into Wisconsin territory before being relieved by Guice, you could see him yelling at him saying "let's go."
He was a man on a mission on that last drive and re-injured his obviously not fully healed ankle, in his money year.

I have no idea how on earth you can construe this as taking it easy for the NFL. He literally played hurt until his body gave out on him, hobbled to the sideline, and was ready to come back in and win the game when Harris throws a 1st down interception.

Fournette is a leader, and will give his all for his team and his state this season.

I'm a little worried about the reaction to etling. Just based on observation & vibe

HMMM.

The reaction I saw was 3 TD's in a row after he came in.

If the team comes out looking 'flat' then you know the season is over...

I refuse to believe LF wants anything other than to win.

This is big boy football.
He understands that.

Harris wasn't getting it done, now it's Etlings turn.

I promise you if offense opens up like it did on his first 3 possessions last sat, LF will say bye Felicia to his pal Harris

More toxic on TD and in the feeble minds of LSU fans than anywhere else.
