Per the douchebag at halftime of tonight's game who picked MSU: "shutouts don't mean anything vs the likes of ULM."

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs have played a Murderer's Row of Southern Miss, UAB, and South Alabama. Tell me again how the media bias is all a figment of our imaginations.

The more impressive wins have been by TAM and SC for sure. But I wouldn't have imagined how many times I've heard analysts say "They haven't played anybody, yet." ESPN hates LSU.

Give it time. Wisky may end up highly ranked.

Auburn is getting a lot of credit tonight for a rather unconvincing win against K-State.

Yes but this proves AU can win over adversity. And KSU not having a kicker.

You do understand, once Wisconsin racks up a great record and has moderate success passing vs their remaining schedule...
the experts will say LSU "caught them early" or something like that.

Kinda like Auburn last year.

It's because the BIG 10 has sucked it up over the first 3 weeks of the season, and therefore that perception is affecting how people are perceiving wins over BIG 10 teams.

Give it a few more weeks and let Wisky get to 5-1, 6-1, etc. At that point, they'll begin to be considered as a major contender to win the conference, and LSU's win will start being recognized.

What's really crazy is just about every analyst says,"If Wisky wouldve kept running the ball, they win." As if LSU didn't really win the game so much as Wisky lost it

Well most LSU fans say this too.
true. but not this one, we forced them to pass and they payed for it with turnovers. THEN, LSU capitalized on said turnovers.

What's really crazy is just about every analyst says,"If Bama wouldve made the field goals, they win. LSU didn't really win the game so much as Bama lost it."

What's really crazy is just about every analyst says,"If Ole Miss wouldve not given up the punt return, they win. LSU didn't really win the game so much as Ole Miss lost it."

What's really crazy is just about every analyst says,"If Georgia wouldve caught those balls in the first half, they win. LSU didn't really win the game so much as Georgia lost it."

I'm spotting a trend here.

People will definitely view a win over MSU as a bigger win over a ranked Wisconsin IMO. People seem to be in love with MSU this week.

The "analysts" opinions before the game have virtually nothing to do with their opinions after the game. Before we beat Wisconsin, they were very high on the Badgers. They talked about how powerful their running game was and that it would be a "true test" for LSU's revamped and depleted D-line which would struggle to stop it, and that our cast of brand new skill players would have to "prove themselves" and be hard pressed to score against Wisconsin's defense. And then when our defense was challenged by the running game, and our offense did struggle for a half, but we turned it around and won anyway, the "true test" didn't really "prove" anything.

If we crush MSU this week, the narrative next week is just as likely to be, "oh, well, LSU beat the crap out of another mediocre Bulldog squad, no big deal," as it is to be, "wow, LSU just beat a quality Miss. State team in impressive fashion." Their opinions beforehand, much like truth, reality or any shred of objectivity, have no bearing on their narrative (unless they want it to).
