Oh, the SEC lost to the ACC argument. Yep - Well, the SEC has 5 of the top 15 teams right now, with a team in the CFP. If you want to go ahead and count UT and Oklahoma (SEC teams next year), that would be 7 teams in the top 15, wuth 2 SEC-caliber teams in the CFP.

The ACC is lucky to habe 5 teams in the top 25 with no team playing in the CFP. How ya like them apples?

How do you figure? One is an individual award while the other is a team award. Would you prefer he just say FSU is only 13-0 because they beat a bunch of crappy teams? Take out Louisville, Clemson, and LSU, the rest of their schedule was a combined 50-69. That SUCKS! That is like saying a man should compete against women! Maybe FSU should schedule tougher competition, like SEC and Big 10 teams do.

Yea, they were classless but this is not about that. Bama isn't any better when they beat people. Most fan bases have their classless moments. But this is about a committee deciding outcomes. They have decided that FSU can't beat any of the 4 teams they picked. Who are they to make this predetermination. They need to be reminded.

NY Giants beat the Patriots
NY Jets beat the Colts
The NHL is one season removed from a complete underdog getting all the way to the cup finals and beat the team with the best record on their way.
There is litterally a list too long to write down filled with teams who have won big who were not given a chance. it happens every week in sports.

So who are these wind bags on the committee to pre determine what the outcome would be. They are saying we don't pick FSU to be in the final 4 because we don't think they can win. They were undefeated in major Power 5 conference in a year in which the ACC won more than it lost against SEC teams. They played their schedule in the ACC plus two SEC teams. Who did Michigan beat besides Penn State and Ohio State? Who did Washington beat besides Oregon that was really that good? Unless there were 4 other undefeated teams in addition to FSU then they should have been in over any 1 loss team. If this was LSU everyone here would be through the moon with rage.

They scheduled OOC games that they thought would be good and only 1 was good. Their conference sucks! 77-79 overall combined opponent record says it all. That's INCLUDING those P5 OOC opponents that supposedly bolstered their case to be in the CFP. But UF was 5-7! Come on! I understand it sounds good to say, "We played more P5 schools than anyone else", but if they were bad teams, it just means you were a bigger kid on the playground amongst weaker kid being a bully amongst them. Meanwhile, "the SEC teams schedule 'cupcake' games for OOC opponents" is the counter argument. They do schedule a few, but they can do that because their conference games are almost weekly games against Top 25 opponents. It's the difference between being part of a good conference with a bunch of talented, good teams and a bad conference with only what...3 good teams each year?
