Why he does that, I just don't understand.

I have no idea as well.

It's to the point where I wish it's all just an act that Rog and Ben have been putting on for us. That way their posting behavior can more easily be explained. We're not that lucky because it's pretty clear that they genuinely don't understand what we all incessantly try explaining to them.

Ree on the other hand is just completely full of shite with a clear goal of pushing an agenda.

Rog and Ben are straight up objective and optimistic people. It isnt hard to be optimistic about a team that just finished #6, returns a boatload of starters, a proven qb (for a change), is preseason top 10, has a hell of a recruiting class going, what appears to be some very good off-season hires, and overall a ton of positive momentum. Honestly, the people still bashing O and putting the program down at this point are the ones with the clear agenda. Most intelligent people easily see that though. Carry on.

Don't let em get to you Roger. They hate O. It's that simple. They have an agenda. Any rational objective fan right now would be at least satisfied with the direction and state of the program under O and very much looking forward to this year. Not saying all, but some of these guys can't handle the fact that O just might pull this damn thing off, so they ate doubling down with hate.

It's not weird, it's called hate, and an agenda.

Chaisson, Ika, Shelvin, Jenkins, and Evans way to early to predict but could have a higher ceiling.

Chaisson will likely be gone after this year. But I agree there is not enough on film to predict where. If he plays at LSU in 2020 it’s because he did not live up to expectations in 2019.

And my concerns aren't about the athletes, my concerns are about some of the coaches on the staff.

I've only been posting a short time but have been reading much longer. I don't think anyone on here doubts the hatred you have for O. In seemingly every post you make you manage to take shots at him. This post is no different. For one, you have no concerns about the Oline? None? Only the coaches. Got it.

Second. I think most of us want to won the conference, and compete in the 4 team playoff. Most of us realize that Alabama is still on our division, and despite what you may say, there is still a significant talent gap between the two schools. You know it is unlikely that lsu beats them, and therefore makes it damn near impossible to win the West without doing so. There really is only one program able to do that currently. Therefore, as an O hater, that is your only criteria. Even though the talent gap is shrinking rapidly, we PROBABLY still aren't there. As of now we are in that next group between 3-8. I'm excited about the season, especially since we now return a proven qb and an offense that has played together for a year. Time will tell.

We’re expecting this guy to be an elite outside pass rusher. If he lives up to that he’s at worst a second round draft choice, but more likely round one. It’s very rare - but barely possible - that he would remain.

Returning to school isn’t always indicative of not meeting expectations. Look at the Clemson kids, or Bradley Chubb, or Von Miller who had 17 sacks as a Jr for example.

I just hate when people frame statements like that over something that has yet to play out. “Well if he returns that means he didn’t play well”...cmon.

Arden Key is a prime example. Had he not played well, he would have likely returned. Lol...wait.

Very hopefull about Chaisson. At this point he has done absolutely nothing in a game.. seems to be a pretty big stretch to knight him an all AMERICAN and first round draft pick. Hope he is. But he is not now.

He made the 2017 SEC All-Freshman Team. I think he's shown flashes of what could potentially be greatness.

bullshite. We talk about possible team weaknesses all the time. Individual players that we hope are better with another year in the system. How coaches are going to do this season. Etc. What I don't do is needlessly and on a personal level attack the coaches. That's something that the poster I'm responding to does constantly. That's where the arguments start. It's not about a difference of opinion.

And before anyone says that I don't hold coaches responsible. I've been critical of Sullivan, the last offensive line coach and Ensminger just off the top of my head.

Could be something personal. You never know...some person in the coaching/athletic profession may have an axe to grind. I know somewhere else there is jaded ex asst coach who was with the program on the back end of Miles' era who posts all sorts of anti O and basically full blown Negatiger anti LSU stuff. Then there are folks who are just miserable losers and who are worthless.

Strong's a pretty good coach. He's got a 70-45 overall record. He was 37-15 at Louisville and he's 17-8 at South Florida. He went 16-21 at Texas.

The record he had at Texas wasn't due to his coaching in my opinion, I think the problem he had was the culture at Texas.

It’s funny you say this and also say O sucks as a coach
