Just got a new baseball coach that has killed it every step of the way so far.

The most exciting women's basketball coach in the history of the school.

The Pear has his most talented and deepest roster and continues to piss off national media, other SEC fans and coaches while continuing to basically tell the NCAA to go frick themselves.

We have an LSU alum and Baton Rouge native as AD that looks to be pressing all the right buttons.

Best of all we won another football game over rival Florida as an underdog then fired the coach the next day.

It may never get any better than this.

Is truly is a dream scenario for the LSU fanbase. The only thing we love more than winning is winning while complaining & wheeling out the coaching guillotine.

At the end of the day it’s still women’s basketball. It will also continue to lose money. There are other women’s sports that are much more exciting watch and would have been better to spend that money on. Basketball as it’s played by women right now is awful to watch. That can’t be hidden by pushing riding on men’s coat tails even more to “increase” their tournament revenue. Some rule, court, and goal adjustments might help the sport scale better to women and make it easier to watch.

Sorry, the morning of January 14, 2020 may have been peak LSU fan time for most.

Waking up and comprehending that we were undefeated national champions after beating 7 ranked teams (in the top 10 no less) with the greatest single QB season to date, multiple award winners, etc. etc. is going to be tough to topple going forward. Even for someone like me who was a student when we won in 2003.

I get that the other sports are trending upwards (as a baseball and hoops fan, I'm pumped), but for the average LSU fan, the pinnacle of 2019 football will likely never be topped.

I only hope AD is able to secure the RIGHT coach. I don’t mean the cheap “up and comer,” nor should we simply go hire the expensive pedigreed coach.

I just they don’t force anything. Let the situation come to us, then aggressively pursue it.

Keeping Ed O on the staff gives us months to evaluate and interview. Stellar way to play all of this IMO.

Definitely looking up but it may go south if we go with the WOKE hire instead of the most qualified coach to lead us for the next 5-10 years

Jackass

You didn't include the rest of the sentence that makes is a good thing. Also, if you couldn't tell that this was all tongue in cheek, I don't know what to tell you.

The sun is brighter today. The birds are singing louder. The grass is greener. My waist looks a couple sizes smaller. Even your wife looked better this morning without her make up on. It's a great day to be a Tiger. You can be miserable if you want to. I'm happy.

You need help lol

Winning that National Championship in football on January 14th 2020 was the best time ever for LSU.

Cool. At the end of the day, it’s still women’s gymnastics (or insert any other non-revenue generating women’s sport). But for the last few years they’ve packed the PMAC and been an awesome platform for the LSU brand nationally. Just because it’s not your cup of tea, doesn’t mean it’s not a worthwhile endeavor.

Unless you’re the one paying for the loss, you have no right to complain. Also, you and other simpletons like you fail to understand that the impact of a all-time great coach and a program’s success are measured far beyond ticket and concession sales. Sorry you’re too narrow-minded to comprehend that.

This is a matter of your opinion. What is an objective fact is that women’s basketball is the most nationally relevant women’s collegiate sport. Success at a high level for that program gets LSU more notoriety, and national attention than any other women’s sport.

Agree but you’re missing the point. Based on the entirety of you post, you just want to bitch because wealthy men connected to LSU decided to spend a bunch of money on Kim Mulkey. I’m sorry those same people didn’t use that money to hire you to cut their grass.

I started a thread yesterday to this exact point. Its exactly what the rant has been waiting for since the domain was purchased. Beat a ranked SEC opponent and fire the coach the next day
