All things said and done we’re still ranked #16 in NET and #17 in Kenpom. We’ll probably go 2-2 in our last 4 games and win a game or two in the SEC tourney. This oughta put us right around a 5-7 seed. We have as good a chance as any to make a deep run in the tourney if we get a good draw. Everyone relax, we’re gonna get to watch our team be favored in the first round of the tourney and we have enough talent to beat anyone in the country. And for all you idiots saying “NIT here we come,” we could lose every game we have left and we’d still be a 12-14 seed. And I promise you any team who has to play us in the tourney is going to hate that they drew us and their fans will be nervous as shite going into the game. Some of you need to go grab a beer out the fridge and stop being so damn pessimistic. If we beat Kentucky on Wednesday we’re right back in the conversation for a 4 seed. Let’s just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I just want to make the tournament. Make the dance and anything can happen.

This season was looking rough right after the big 3 from last year left. I view this year as playing with house money anyway.

This

People fare too much what seed we get. Gunna have to play the #1 or 2 seeds to win it all/get to final 4 anyway.. so why not knock their asses out 2nd or 3rd round.

Well coached teams aren’t afraid to play LSU.

Road losses don't hurt too bad in those ratings. The Ole Miss home loss is what may come back to haunt this team come seeding time.

Watch it and see. One or the other will be out. LSU will lose to KY and Arky, a Bama loss and we host a NIT Game

What if you draw the 6 seed, and the #1 loses before they get to your round? One of the most stupid statements I hear is: "you have to beat the 1 seed ventually Jethro", which is ABSOLUTE BS. Upsets happen throughout the tournament, which is why in general, it's best to have a draw avoiding #1 for as long as possible. A lot of advancing in the tournament has to do with luck on the other side of your bracket. This isn't Chinese arithmetic.

still be a 12-14 seed

No worse than a 12 seed, if we expect to dance. No power five team has ever gotten with worse than 12-seed, and that was Oklahoma in 1993.

Also, LSU could get in potentially with an 8-10 conference record, but never with 7-11.
