I've always thought that, but will Nix still go to Auburn if Lowell signs there?

Narcisse needs to do what's best for him. Everyone ignores the fact that LSU doesn't even have a legit proven QB coach on the team that has proven to develop more than 1 player in his entire career.

Yet, you want Narcisse to stick around to be "developed" for a chance to get playing time in 2 years.

If Narcisse isn't happy at LSU and thinks there are better opportunities for him elsewhere, then so be it.

I assure you that he'll have options and many of them with OC/QB coaches better than he has at LSU at the moment.

Brennan isn't physically capable of handling SEC defenses at this time..If Macmillan leaves as well, we're screwed

You’re acting like a baby and a spoiled brat insisting these guys stay to MAYBE compete for a job 1-2 years down he road.

Also frick it, I doubt o consulted with them before bringing in Burrows. They gotta figure this shite out.

Why? He was a 2017 early enrollee. He has a season under his belt, 2 spring practices and 2 fall camps and didn't put himself in a position to be the starter.

This about Narcisse. He can't pass well enough to start and it's foolish to think he's going to "develop" a new skill at this late stage. Give it up.

McMillan? Three offensive coordinators couldn't find a way to use him. The talk of his improvement was all smoke and mirrors. Like Narcisse, he is what he is and that's not good enough.

we'll be fine.

happens at every school all the time

A redshirt freshman is thinking of leaving because he's been passed up on the depth chart by a junior who's already graduated.

This doesn't happen all the time. Especially when the freshman has already been told he's going to play.

How does Ed make 4 QB's happy?

I already said I get why McMillian would leave, so its 3.

You're telling me keeping 3 scholarship QBs on roster is asking too much?

Currently being key word.
Both guys are young and have lots time to play and get better.

In the real world, if you dont like your position in the company, you look for better opportunities. Nothing wrong with that. Narcisse would fit perfect at Auburn or Florida.

Getting one or two situation plays in a game and waiting two more years to really get on the field is not what would inspire a talented player to stay.
May have been lied to by certain members of the coaching staff too.

from Sheldon mickles

LSU could be losing two quarterbacks.

Redshirt freshman Lowell Narcisse is considering transferring from LSU and could make a decision soon, sources told The Advocate on Tuesday.

Narcisse, a 6-foot-2, 240-pound St. James High graduate, was absent from practice Tuesday along with fourth-year junior Justin McMillan, who is also likely to transfer.

Narcisse was part of the four-man quarterback battle during preseason camp that also included sophomore Myles Brennan and Ohio State graduate transfer Joe Burrow.

Narcisse underwent two ACL surgeries in high school, and he redshirted as a true freshman in 2017.

McMillan, a 6-3, 215-pound left-hander from Cedar Hill, Texas, earned his degree this summer. He has attempted one pass in a college game at LSU.

In spring practice, Narcisse competed with Brennan and McMillan for the starting position. None of the players earned the spot, leading Ed Orgeron and the coaching staff to bring in Burrow.

More details to come.

Auburn does seem somewhat set at QB.

Just added Cord Sandberg who has four years of eligibility.

Plus they currently have the #1 DT QB.

No one should be surprised at this. Whenever you sign two QBs in a class it’s inevitable one is going to transfer out

Good luck to Lowell wherever he goes
