Jack wads that see the optics of the Canada hire/fire. Forget the fact that he completely rebuilt the front 7 that was severely lacking. Went and got us a veteran sure thing at WR and Fehoko that paired with Rashard instantly made us better. He’s made LSU a much better team by adding Alexander which was huge before we knew Fulton would be back. A seasoned qb a seasoned kicker. Fantastic job. But he will be judged on how E does since he let Canada go for E

Perfectly said, that alone should bring more positive than negative. However I know many tiger fans still hurt that saban went to Bama, so I guess some just enjoy living in misery

Right so you would take O over Saban, Kirby Smart and Say Lincoln Riley.

love how this is continuously parroted.

And I bet you thought Les was going to finally open up the offense.

Or better yet I bet you believed there was a secret playbook?

Funny how we live in a society of love everyone, but O seems to be made fun of bc of the way he talks and looks.

That is not the reason he catches shite here and from people nationally. Its his track record and performance as head coach of a major program.

Try again

Yes I didn’t like the meddling with Canada, firing him after a yr then hire SE, but I think O knows this has to work or he is done quickly

He didn’t like his qbs so he went out and found one he did like, I respect that move. He knows he has to win right now.

I don't get this "he knows he has to _______." Did he not know he had to win last year? Did he not know that losing to Troy was a bad thing?

What you're describing sounds like an externally motivated coach. Those guys never last very long.

So if Les left all these problems at LSU would your 1st, 10th or 100th choice to fix them be Orgeron? What in his coaching record suggests he has any ability to do that?

Oh Alleva should definitely be gone for that horrible coach search, but O is the guy and I hope he is successful

Last time I checked LSU still dominated those ole piss teams, zero sec championship and zero NC’s.

Eli Manning won twice in Tiger Stadium.

And you are asking what people are judging O on to doubt him, let me ask you this. What in O's entire career of coaching has he done to give you confidence?

Great coordinator?
Great head coach?

He has zero on his resume that shows he can be a winner at a decision making position.

Funny, when I lived in Tennessee, they never downed Les Miles or Nick Saban.

O is clearly upgrading a roster (filling holes) that was on a downward trend. Although we’ve always been better than Alabama lin the skill positions, we lost ground in the trenches.

He was 1 game from winning the West last year with a depleted roster. He needs 3 years to prove himself. Any less would be a travesty. I

You are saying LSU is disrespected nationally and dropped in the polls because our coach is a cajun with an accent, is that what you are saying?

Really Les Miles was never made fun of??

Dude had an incredible run, was made fun of daily. However he did bring a lot of that on himself. Eating grass, running to the wrong sidelines, etc man you have a short memory

I'm not an O sunshine pumper, and I have my doubts about his ability to lead us back to prominence, but I sure hope that Ed Orgeron laughs last - and LOUDEST.

Amen TNT, when O was hired I couldn’t believe it, I really thought it was Herman or jumbo. I was angry with Alleva and the head start we had. Alleva failed with his job, if O fails then Alleva must go.

I’m done good night everybody!!!
