Need a 6 - team playoff, with first round byes

A 6 - team playoff would insure every conference champion a spot, and then allow a controversial 6th spot. It would also increase the meaning of more games during the last weekend of the season.
Format would also give #1 and #2 seed byes, and make it look a lot like the NFL playoffs, start the games 2 weeks after the conference championship weekends, allowing all teams at least a bye week off
In this scenario you’d have
#1 Ohio State bye week (play winner of #3 v #6, Dec. 28)
#2 LSU bye week (play winner of #4 v #5, Dec. 28)
#3 Clemson (plays Utah Dec. 21)
#4 Georgia (plays Alabama Dec. 21)
#5 Alabama (plays Georgia Dec. 21)
#6 Utah (plays Clemson Dec. 21)
Obviously ^^^ would change after the actual conference championships, but this format would do a better job of eliminating bias and the controversy of leaving out a conference champion

So if LSU were to lose to UGA and they drop them out of the top 4, (likely wouldn’t happen) you wouldn’t think it was stupid then
