I have posted this same idea multiple times on here. I would give the higher seed homefield until the final game. Does LSU want to travel up north for a playoff game? That keeps the people who preach about the regular season's importance in check.

I used to think this was the way to go, but Bama would get in every single year under this scenario. I’m so tired of them not scheduling anyone and then getting in anyway. Conference champions only, please. Everyone must earn it.
