Lot of AI generated know it alls in here. Here are screenshots from the D1 NCAA Baseball Host Site Operations Manual for this year.

quote:

The host shall appoint a qualified person responsible for monitoring the local weather at all times

Obviously that’s Jay or Woodward by some accounts in here.

Nowhere in the ACTUAL OPERATIONS MANUAL does it mention “the AD before the games” and “umpires during” or whatever other AI generated shite y’all want to believe.

It clearly states “NCAA site representatives, and host institution tournament managers”

Do I think Jay might share his opinion with the managers? Probably, but I guarantee you Sabins has access to them as well. I really don’t believe that some of yall think this is Jays doing.

Some of yall are just dense. Use some common sense.

WVU not complaining. They don’t want to burn their starter either. No one cares if you're inconvenienced.

Exactly where does it say that person makes the call? They are there to provide information to the NCAA site reps and tournament managers.

It also states that they are encouraged to have meteorologists either on site or on-call to help provide professional evaluation. I guess that means Caporatta makes the decision then, according to you?

Read next time.

In summary, the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee makes the final decisions regarding delays and adjustments to the Super Regional game schedule, although there are standard NCAA protocols for weather delays, such as those for lightning.

Pretty easy google search for everyone wondering and debating. It ain’t Jay doing the weather delays.

Can you link your google search?

LSU has the largest amount of cry baby Karen's. would you rather a win in weather delay or lose starting on time.

Excuse me you’re right I did on the second post, but not my post above it. Honest mistake since you know, I had already said it in my previous post and provided screenshots of the actual operations manual where it also says it. Nice try.

Yes the host provides tournament managers to assist the NCAA. You think they make the decision over the NCAA site reps who are in town for these exact reasons?

It’s not. Sometimes you just can’t fix stupid. I posted the actual manual that lays it out.

Yes, the house site appoints tournament managers to assist the NCAA when it comes to decision-making as they are able to provide pertinent information about the area that NCAA reps might not know that would be valuable in decision-making. This isn’t that fricking hard.

Just what do you think the NCAA sends reps to each host site to do?

The host managers work with the host site admin/coach and relay the message to the ncaa site reps who then relay the message to the ncaa. God help you if you are too stupid to understand that.
