Gonna be a long day of baseball tomorrow boys. Hoping for a rain shower to appear out there just after we eliminate Wofford.

Hagen Smith just gave up 6 ERs in the 5th vs KSU.
Didn't see that coming.

Me either. Nor did I think Evansville would be in control of that regional

Arky to the losers' bracket. Lost 6-7.
Didn't affect the game but making the Arky go back to 1st was a lousy call.

Did you see the ump sending the base runner back to first after the steal?
Are they inventing new rules now?

Yeah I’ve never seen that before. I’ve seen an out called there.
Posted on 6/1/24 at 10:57 pm to TigerCub
That was odd, i thought intereference was an out

Damn umpires think the game is about them. NCAA needs to implement a robotic strike zone IMO. Unfortunately you'll never take the judgement calls and human element out of it.

I’ve never seen it either and best I can find is that there is maybe some kind of exception where interference occurs but if it was the result of the batter moving to avoid being hit by the pitch, which Stovall kind of was, then the runner is returned but the batter doesn’t have to be called out.

Yeah that had to be what it was. Never seen that before

We have bonus baseball in Aggieland
Posted on 6/1/24 at 11:14 pm to TigerCub
And the batter didn’t really do anything out of the ordinary.
It’s as if these umps want to show us they know the rules.

Yeah it was ticky tack to begin with as the pitch being inside probably had more to do with having to throw over the bat than Stovall’s movement, but that has to be what they actually ruled.

Texas walking off A&M at Blue Bell would make my evening after watching UConn take care of Oklahoma.

A&M fans are bunch of weirdos seriously
