That’s too bad. Next year could have only improved his stock, obviously

We all know he was “always a one and done”. The point people are making is at some point, that decision should have been re-evaluated. And if they weren’t going to hedge against this happening by staying on campus, then his effort in workouts this spring needed to be perfect.

How many people would have guessed the day he committed to LSU that he would go undrafted? I bet less than 1%. People at one point said he was a lock for a top 10 pick. What an enigma.

Hopefully this will deter future LSU players that may be in a similar situation as Reid from making the same mistake. If you're not a draft lock and can improve your stock with one more year, why not come back.

This decision potentially cost Naz millions if he would've been a first round pick in next year's draft.

I got hit with the rain of down vote for stating that he was going to cost himself millions of dollars by declaring this year. Any idiot could tell that he is nowhere near NBA ready. Makes me sad for him. Another two years at LSU would have made a world of difference.

Who's bashing him? He's a 19 year old kid. The criticism is going more toward whoever steered him in this direction.

These threads are not about questioning his effort or heart while he was at LSU. He got bad advice to go pro early… He agreed with that bad advice… And now he’s fricked.

There were some of the dumbest picks in this draft as I've ever seen in my life. Pelicans taking Alen Smailagic with their 39th pick was beyond stupid. The guy gets knocked around and pushed to the floor in the league he just played in. Naz has skill, he has a big athletic body. Why nobody drafted him is stupid. He will make an NBA roster, and he will have a good NBA career. Naz needs to develop his legs and get them stronger. That will help him a lot. The Pelicans just blew this entire draft except their first 2 picks, outside of that they got not a damn thing that will help. Fricking joke.
