So he made two bad decisions because he could have come back even after the combine. He would have been better next year at the combine with what he learned this year.

This really is the saddest part of it all. The person/agent or whatever that gave him the advice should NEVER EVER be allowed to represent anyone, ever again. They pretty much ruined this kids life.

Naz lazy. Naz non-athletic. Naz no handles. Naz turnover machine. Naz no post moves. Naz no bueno for NBA.
It’s not hard to figure out for those of you with no basketball IQ.

So Naz develops a stronger work ethic, toughness, hustle, effort, post moves by staying in college one more year? ????
How about this… Naz was never NBA material nor will he ever be… Go enjoy an overseas game somewhere in the Venezuelan league shooting threes at 6’10”

Of course he did. Agents waved money in front of him and he caved.

imo, Naz's best path is to go to Europe and see the world while he can.

We don't know the terms yet but he basically signed for late first round money with this new contract. He bet on himself and it paid off.

Good fir thought:

Does this prove that he could have come back and improved his stock enough to be a lottery pick?

Obviously the path he chose worked out for him and I’m super happy for the guy. He played hard for LSU and that’s all you can ask.

You’re right but go back and look at the shite things people on here said he should have done bc he would never be in the nba. Idiots

Guy still wasn’t ready. That contract would have been bigger if he had stayed another year

He would have to have been close to a lottery pick to make over 6 mill over the next 4 years if he sits out one of them.

If he stays and improves he is a first round pick with a $10 to $20 million guarantee. He made an awful decision. Don’t really care at this point

In the NBA now it's about getting to the second contract. There are players with less potential than him that have gotten paid big time in the NBA.

If he keeps this up he'll get a nice payday in a few years.

He would have to go pretty high to get that kind of guaranteed money.

He already signed a contract, so I won't say it was a bad decision. I do think a better decision would have been to stay one more year. He would have been a bigger focus of the offense with Tremont leaving while still having a lot of supporting talent around him.

And I rarely think a player should stay when they declare.

I usually get nervous when these threads get bumped, but I am OK with my take.

Are you his dad or his agent? His mom? WTF are you defending him for? He would have made a hell of a lot more if he had stayed and signed after being drafted next year!

Naz made an awful decision. Anybody that leaves school early and doesn’t even get drafted is a bonehead. Hopefully he is able to work his way up thru the d leagues but that’s a hard row to hoe.
