Narrative Check - LSU wants Bama again!!!

In order to end the Bama / Saban complex we must play bama in CFP. We must beat them in CFP.

this wont be your 2011 Tigers v Bama rematch.
LSU will take many lessons away from this past weekend. All of them will make us a much better football team.
Should we get a chance to beat bama twice this year, it would truly be a generational opportunity. Especially if it’s in the dome.

Burrow is not the excuse for a QB we had last rematch and Bama would get run out of Atlanta by the third quarter!
Which is what was happening before O asked they run the ball some to kill clock starting the 3rd quarter. Not criticizing him, hind sight is 20/20, but he admitted it in post game.

They don't deserve it and I'm not willing to risk a repeat of 12/9/12.
If they win, they and the media will say that they won the game that mattered. Sorry, but I think that what happened on Saturday mattered, and the outcome should have some consequence on the situation.
They can't change the narrative because they didn't get what they want. Anyone who thinks it's ok to give them the do over they want is a fool.

?If LSU stays at #1 then they should let someone else get a chance at #4. A number one team should be rewarded for knocking out a team on the road in the regular season. If there is another conference champion to put in at #4, do it. It is wrong to have them play again. ?

I do not care that we are the #1/#2 team in the country. They could not defend their home field, they gave up almost 50 points. It's the most points they've ever given up at home under Saban.

I hate rematches.
Truthfully, if we played 10 times, I believe this LSU team could beat them at least 7 out of those ten times. But that still leaves a chance that Bama could pull the upset.
There are two ways to look at this.
1: we play them again and win. That would be fricking huge. Then if we beat them again next year in Baton Rouge it would absolutely kill that program and any and all momentum in recruiting and on field would be 100% wrapped up by LSU. Saban and Bama would be DONE!
2: we play them and lose. Then all momentum from this year would take a hit. We would have no choice but to beat them again next year in BTon Rouge or we would lose ALL the momentum we gained from beating them this year.
It’s a risk that frankly we shouldn’t have to take.

I think that's the right attitude. Still, I hope Auburn puts BAMA's lights out. They need to be banished to the pit of misery and missing the CFP is the next step IMO.

Agree on all points, except it’s not up to LSU, we don’t take a risk we just play who they tell us to play. One thing Tiger Nation needs to understand about this team; they can beat anyone in the country anytime anywhere.

I wish somehow, that Auburn could find an offense and Nix could learn to pass and they beat Bama.
If a re-match happens, so be it. But what do they say about College Football, It is a playoff all season and especially in the month of Nov. Every game is a playoff game.
I hate the re-match angle, it is so difficult to do it twice. I think LSU could do it, but I think the rest of the country will be pissed. You don't win your division or conference with a weak schedule and you they put them in the CFP versus other 1 loss teams that had a better schedule and actually won their conference or division.
