actually surprised this thread isn't full of "Walker" replies.

Gary Hymel- Had a cannon arm. Could mash the ball also.
Jason Dettermann- Kid gave everything on the mound.

Shame that injuries derailed his career in MLB, but it did lead him to start Marucci.
injuries derailed a portion of his college career too. he had tommy john surgery his first year at LSU. He was a great guy though. When I was 12 or 13, my family went to the CWS in 1997 and Kurt took me and another guy my age around to all the LSU practices and let us shag balls at BP and introduced us to all the players. Really great experience as a kid and something he just did to be a nice guy. /csb but something I'll certainly always hold him in high regard for. He also was one of the players that came out to coach at baseball camps

Name your top LSU baseball player not named Bregman, Walker, or McDonald
Eddie Furniss. end thread. no other option if we're discussing the player's career at LSU. In fact, he's above Bregman in terms of overall LSU career.

Furniss
IF this is not the answer, you haven't been an LSU baseball fan all that long.

And if you think that Joey Belle is not on par with Furniss (who I love, by the way), then you cannot be persuaded not to try and breathe underwater

Has anyone mentioned Chad Jones?

Keith Osik hasn't been mentioned. Not the greatest talent or most eye popping stats, but he was a great player. Played all 9 positions in one game.
